This month ArchivesACT has three ACT Administration Media Statements issued by the Consumer Affairs Bureau in the late 1980s. The following scans are two of the more light hearted consumer affairs issues from that period amongst more serious problems such as warnings on scam airline tickets, hazardous toys at Christmas and a "pool skimmer" that presented a potential drowning risk for small children.
