About us

ArchivesACT is the main public access point for Australian Capital Territory Government records. We provide access to ACT Government records that are more than 20 years old, unless they contain sensitive information relating to personal privacy or community safety.

Collection highlights

Information about many records, and some digital copies of records are available on the ACT Memory database: https://act.accesstomemory.org

We recommend contacting us if you do not find what you are looking for, as many records have not yet been added to ACT Memory.
