Chief Minister Proud of Her First Hundred Days - August 1989
On the 16th of May 1989 the first ACT Government was sworn in and was led by Rosemary Follett (ALP), the first woman to be head of a State or Territory Government in Australia. This Media Release from the Chief Minister's Office dated 18th of August 1989 documents the early achievements of that first ACT Government.
